November news Richdon Koi(posted: 08-11-2012)
Two weekends of Special offers
This weekend we have 10% on all dry goods, PLUS Double loyalty points in store.
Our latest batch of freshly made Nutrikoi is now in stock!!
PLUS MORE DISCOUNTS ON KOI, COME ALONG AND SEE.
As you may know we are in the process of re-photographing all the koi for sale.
So many of them have changed significantly and at times especially with showa hard to recognize
We have now placed all the remaining new nisai (this years tosai) on the website
Some we have kept smaller to make them ideal for baby champions, or for those with smaller koi ponds.
Quite a few breeders in Japan do this, as they tend to have higher visual quality than those, which have been grown fast
Last night Donna and I sat for many hours deleting sold and taken koi, and adding the new pictures of Nisai.
We will try and get the rest finished early next week, especially those that have now gone from nisai to sansai
For this weekend the whole of the right hand side of the fish house is complete, and fully stocked
There is even a marudo chagoi pond with chagoi ranging from 45cm to 60cm, for obvious reasons we cannot hold these over winter, even with clear pictures.
All koi in our fish house at present have been with us for 6 months now, most of which have not been seen before until this weekend.
Points system- *********CHANGES PLEASE READ*********
Due to the economic climate and to encourage regular custom, we are changing the loyalty points systems slightly.
We hope we can make this as clear as possible, but if you have any questions please get in touch via email.
All points acquired BEFORE February 1st 2012 will expire on February 28th 2013
Loyalty points will then have a 12month lifespan and will expire if not used within this time scale.
As an example, if you acquired points in June 2012 you have until June 30th to use these points.
As a reminder loyalty points can only be used against the purchase of photographed koi, up to the value of 50%.
We are however offering for a limited time loyalty points on the purchase value of each koi.
As an example a koi valued at £400 if you use 200 points you will be paying £200 and will acquire 20 points to use within the next 12 months.
We feel a total of 4 months notice is adequate notice.
You can read more about this on our forum www.koihelp.co.uk
Over Winter of koi
We originally planned not to offer this service, however with the introduction of loyalty point expiry, we knew we had to offer this service again to be fair to those un-heated.
Please understand due to higher running costs each koi kept with us over winter we have to charge a fee of £45.
We INSIST that all koi are collected by the weekend after Easter 2013, else a weekly fee of £10 per koi will apply.
