Over the Christmas period we have been very busy as you may know refurbishing our dry goods shop. We hope you like our new look? Please understand though we are waiting for all new stocks of dry goods to arrive to fill our shelves after our expansion of shelving an reducing stocks to help with the transition.
Are you interested in Photography?
If so then we have a special day for you
ON Sunday 23rd of January starting at 11am we have a special guest appearance of Dave Nunn, who is a keen koi keeper but also a professional photographer http://www.davenunnstudios.co.uk/
Over the past few years Dave has given Richard some great advice to improve his photography skills.
So this seminar is aimed at showing you how to improve your photography skills, and more importantly post processing of your pictures.
We MUST emphasise this is for Digital SLR camera owners, or those who are thinking about one for the future.
There will be a small cash fee of £5
If you are interested in coming along PLEASE book your place by emailing email@example.com
Failure to do so may result in you missing out on a place as space is limited to this popular event.
Richard will also show some best methods for photographing koi.
Dave will also be offering some great 'actions' which he has created for Adobe Photoshop, again these will be on offer for a small cash fee.
January special offer ends SOON!!
Don't forget our January special offer. For every £50 you spend you will be entered into our prize draw with chance to win a Tosai worth £1000 with two seasons of growing here at Richdon Koi Farm included. More details can be found here
Dainichi Grow & Show
We have only a few spaces left for this now, they will certainly be sold out by the end of the month, so don't miss out. Details here
The Winter Show
Please follow our forum for up to date information about this show. Although it has encountered a set back due to the venue closing the EMKC members are frantically working behind the scenes to ensure this show will go ahead. If you have a few days spare to help them and see how a show comes together why not get in touch?
Bio-Security at Richdon Koi
During 2010 CEFAS visited our premises several times as part of our Authorisation of being a koi farm. Whilst visiting we had a BIG complement from them for our Bio-Security procedures along our Bio-Security management plans.
We also pride ourselves on being one of the very few outlets in the UK that quarantines their koi correctly, with NO public access at all times to our quarantine facility. Something, which we feel, is a must in this day and age!
PLEASE NOTE :- We have now moved the Foot dip for entering our retail side of Richdon Koi to the outside of the dry goods, in-between the shop and fish house. So if you are visiting just for dry goods you are not required to step into our dips.
PLEASE always remember to use our hand wash and foot dips.
Phone 08450 702 704 (local rate) or 01283 529176 (from a mobile or local)
We have removed the option of sales and technical to avoid any further confusion.
If our lines are busy please leave a message and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
Our phone lines are answered Monday to Thursday 9am till 4pm during the winter months
Then Saturday and Sunday 10am till 4pm
Visiting is now only weekends 10am till 4pm Saturday and Sunday.
Weekdays are appointment only with at least one weeks notice but we are still closed on Friday's.
We are here to help and improve your hobby
